Araştırmanın amacı, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin öğrenimlerine ilişkin doyum düzeylerini incelemektir. Tanımlayıcı türdeki araştırmanın evrenini, bir devlet üniversitesinde bahar döneminde hemşirelik programına kayıtlı olan, en az bir yıl hemşirelik eğitimi almış ve klinik uygulama deneyimi olan 2., 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmuştur (N=431). Çalışmada örneklem seçimine gidilmemiş, tüm öğrencilere ulaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Katılmayı kabul eden 305 öğrenci ile çalışma tamamlanmış ve araştırma evreninin %71’ine ulaşılmıştır. Veriler “Sosyodemografik Veri Toplama Formu” ve “Öğrenci Doyum Ölçeği Kısa Form” ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde; sayı, yüzde gibi tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Kruskal Wallis Test (post hoc: Parametrik Olmayan Bonferroni test) ve Mann Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Tüm istatistiksel testler için anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin %81,0’inin kadın, %9,5’inin düz lise mezunu olduğu, %6,6’sının ekonomik durum algısının kötü olduğu belirlendi. Öğrencilerin %55,1’inin hemşireliği isteyerek tercih ettiği, %86,2’sinin hemşireliği stresli bulduğu, %82,3’ünün mezuniyet sonrası hemşire olarak çalışmayı düşündükleri saptandı. Öğrencilerin Öğrenci Doyum Ölçeği Kısa Form aritmetik puan ortalamaları 3,32±0,64 olarak bulundu. Hemşireliği isteyerek tercih etme, hemşireliği seçme nedeni, fakülte ve bölümden memnun olma durumu ve mezuniyet sonrası hemşire olarak çalışmayı isteme değişkenleri ile ölçeğin aritmetik puan ortalamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğu belirlendi (p<0,05). Araştırma sonuçları öğrencilerin tüm eğitim-öğretim hizmet ve olanaklarından orta düzeyde memnun olduğunu göstermektedir.
The purpose of the research is to investigate the levels of satisfaction of nursing students regarding their education. The universe of the descriptive research consisted of 2nd, 3rd and 4th-year students who; were enrolled in the nursing program of a state university in spring semester, received at least one year nursing education and had clinical practice experience (N=431). In the study, no sample selection was made, it has been aimed to reach all students. The study has been completed with 305 students who agreed to participate in the study, and 71% of the research universe has been reached. The data has been collected with "Sociodemographic Data Collection Form" and "Student Satisfaction Scale Short Form". In the analysis of the data; descriptive statistics as frequency, percentage, Croscal Wallis Test (post hoc: Non-Parametric Bonferroni test) and Mann Whitney U test have been used. The significance level has been accepted as p <0.05 for all statistical tests. It was determined that 81.0% of students' were female, 9.5% were normal high school graduates, and 6.6% had a bad economic situation perception. It was determined that 55.1% of the students willingly prefered nursing, 86.2% found it stressed and 82.3% thought to work as a nursing after graduation. Students' Student Satisfaction Scale Short Form arithmetic score averages were found as 3.32±0.64. It was determined that there was statistically significant difference between the variables of choosing nursing willingly, reason for choosing nursing, being satisfied with the faculty and department, and willing to work as nurses after graduation and scale's arithmetic score average (p<0.05). Research results show that students are moderately satisfied with all educational-teaching services and facilities.
