Abstract:

The relationship between immigration and literature has been extended to this day with the re-explanations of individual and mass migration movements throughout history. Poetry, story, style, novel, and other types of immigration events are reflected in the fictional level within the possibilities of the narrative of the situations arising from the immigration. Especially the novel type in this context appeared in the Turkish literature and romances related to domestic and external migrations that occurred after 1950. In these novels, it has also been focused on immigration, its socio-cultural and socio-economic dimensions. Academic studies on immigration novels have been more studied in the context of literary sociology, so the sociological aspect of these novels has been put forward. In this article, a study was conducted on the structure of the immigration novels, while researching the reward of social reality in the written reality focused on the common structure, common functions and common traces in the novels. To identify these common aspects, A.J.Greimas’s action model was used as a method, and the functional aspect of all the abstract, concrete elements in the novels was taken to the forefront.
