Özet:

States in the international arena, XIX. century, technological, military, political, economic and social changes have experienced many changes. In this century, the international reflections of the change in the states' definition of absolute power and sovereignty have been manifested by world wars. In this respect, XIX. century was the period when the mutual struggles of the Westphalian nation-states in the system were clearly seen. In fact, many political history studies of the XIX. century focus on Europe. In this century, industrialized European powers have expanded their influence in the system and entered into colonial competition. However, this competition is not limited to the rising powers in Europe. So we should not ignore the other emerging powers in the international arena outside Europe. At this point, we focus on the developments in the East Asia region rather than Europe. And we discuss the mutual power struggle of the Russian and Japanese empires in the region. The aim of our approach to this issue is the efforts of these two historical powers to bring themselves into the status of the leading forces. At this point, given the modernization and modernization of the Japanese Empire in the East Asia region, the drive to seek imperial and colonialism like Western powers is remarkable. Similarly, the cyclical consequences of the social and political impact of the steps taken with the aim of becoming an industrial power in the Russian Empire are important. This proves Russia's tendency to preserve its power in the region. In this study, examine the superiority of Russian and Japanese empires in East Asia region and the consequences of the mutual regional rivalry of these two powers. The results of the mutual competition of these two powers will be examined.
