Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, Türk lirası ile BRICS ülke kurları arasındaki nedensellik ilişkisi ele alınmıştır. 2006:01-2016:02 dönemleri arası 2631 gün döviz kurları veri seti alınarak, Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) ve Granger nedensellik testi uygulanarak Türk lirası ile BRICS döviz kurları arasındaki nedensellik ilişkisi açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre TL’den BRL’ye; TL, RUB ve ZAR’dan CNY’ye; TL ve ZAR’dan INR’ye; CNY’den TL’ye tek yönlü nedensellik, TL ile ZAR ve RUB ile ZAR arasında da çift yönlü nedensellik ilişkisi olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
