Öz Dokumacılık, insanlığın varoluşundan günümüze kadar gelen bir süreçtir. Başlangıçta insanoğlunun dış etkenlerden korunması ve örtünme amacıyla yaptığı dokumacılık, giderek bu ihtiyacın ötesine geçip bir sanat haline dönüşmüştür. Ancak el dokumacılığı, batıda meydana gelen sanayileşmeyle birlikte Anadolu’da her alanda olduğu gibi dokumacılıkta da etkisini göstermeye başlamış olup, yaşam biçiminde görülen değişimle birlikte son zamanlarda giderek yok olmaya yüz tutmuştur. Dokumalar, yapıldığı bölgenin iklim şartları, coğrafi şartlar, kullanılan malzeme, yaşam biçimi ve kültürüne bağlı olarak farklılık göstermekte, örneğin sıcak iklimin yaşandığı bir bölgede pamuk, ipek, keten ipliği kullanılırken, soğuk iklimi olan yerlerde yün ve kıl gibi iplikler kullanılmaktadır. Makalemizin konusunu, Doğu Karadeniz bölgesinde yer alan Rize ve Bayburt illerinde yapılan geleneksel dokumalar ile bunların teknik, kullanılan malzeme, motif bakımından benzerlik ve farklılıkları oluşturmaktadır. Rize’de feretiko (Rize bezi) ile Bayburt’ta yapılan ehram dokuma çalışmamızda yer vereceğimiz kumaş türüdür. İki ilimizde yapılan bu dokumalar, birtakım benzerlikleri olmasına rağmen iki farklı tekstil ürününü meydana getirmektedir.
Documentation is a process from the existence of humanity to the present day. In the beginning, the documentation of mankind for the purpose of protecting and covering from external factors has gradually gone beyond this need and has become an art. But hand-touching, along with the industrialization that occurred in the West, has begun to show its influence in texting, as in all areas in Anadolu, and has faced its extinction in recent times with the changes in the way of life. Documents vary depending on the climate conditions, geographical conditions, the material used, the way of life and the culture of the area in which it is made, for example, in a region where the hot climate is experienced, cotton, silk, cranberries are used, while in places with a cold climate, cranberries are used, such as cranberries and cranberries. The subject of our article is the traditional documents made in the provinces of Rize and Bayburt, located in the Eastern Black Sea region, with their technical, used materials, similarities and differences in terms of motivation. In Rize with feretiko (Rize gland) in Bayburt is the type of fabric we will take part in our work of fabric. These documents made in our two provinces, although there are a number of similarities, produce two different textile products.
Abstract Weaving is a process from the existence of humanity to the present day. In the beginning, weaving, which was done by human beings for the purpose of protection and covering from external factors, gradually went beyond this need and became an art. However, hand weaving has started to show its effect in weaving as in all areas in Anatolia with the industrialization in the west and has been gradually disappearing with the change in the way of life. Weavings vary depending on the climatic conditions, materials, geographical conditions, lifestyle and culture of the region, for example, cotton, silk, linen yarn is used in a region where warm climate is used, while wool and hair like yarns are used in cold climate areas. The subject of our article is the similarities and differences in traditional weavings made in the provinces of Rize and Bayburt in the Eastern Black Sea region and their techniques, materials and motifs. It is the kind of fabric that will be included in our ehram weaving study in Bayburt with feretiko (Rize cloth) in Rize. Although these weavings made in two provinces have some similarities, they constitute two different textile products.
