Abstract:

Nursing perform maintenance and practices necessary throughout the life span of human in health/disease process. In this context, nursing theory helps that both enhancement of nurses analytical thinking skills and the ability to identify and develop objectives in nursing function. To do this, nurses benefit from a variety of nursing care model based on nursing theory. Neuman Systems Model is one of these models. At this model, nursing has not only health or disease but also a human-oriented holistic approach. Besides this model emphasized the importance of its resources and patient’s stressors in parallel with it focused on planning of interventions and the identification of all targets. Accordingly, Neuman Systems Model-based, in 54-year-old patient who was admitted to the gynecologic oncology service with the diagnosis of endometrial cancer was created nursing care plan and examined the impact of these stress levels and stress caused by intrapersonal, interpersonal, personal external factors. The purpose of this review is to show the usefulness of the model and the provision of nursing care with a holistic perspective Neuman Systems Model-based cases of endometrial cancer.
