Klasik Türk edebiyatının son dönemi, şair, şiir, poetik tavırlar ve şiir çevreleri açısından oldukça renkli ve zengin bir niteliğe sahiptir. Bu dönemde yaşanan sosyal değişim ve dönüşümler, bir yandan şiirin konularını genişletmiş diğer yandan yeni ve farklı edebî türlerin de ortaya çıkmasına zemin hazırlamıştır. Bütün bunlar, beraberinde yeni bir edebî zevki ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu çalışmanın konusu olan Muhît’in şiirleri de geleneksel üslup ve kavramlar çerçevesinde yeni söylem arayışları ile dikkat çekmektedir. Aynı zamanda incelenen şiirlerde şairin içinde bulunduğu, dönemin aydınlarının bir araya geldiği, Hoca Neş’et muhiti ve saray bürokrasinin kültürel ilişkileri ve edebî anlayışlarının izlerini görmek de mümkündür. Muhît hakkında tezkirelerde, edebiyat tarihlerinde ve diğer kaynak eserlerde herhangi bir bilgi bulunmamaktadır. Muhit’e ait şiirler, Milli Kütüphane Yazmalar Koleksiyonu 06 Mil Yz A 3284/1 arşiv numarasına kayıtlı olan bir mecmua içerisinde yer almaktadır. Çalışmada öncelikle, Muhît’in şiirleri, şekil ve muhteva açısından incelenmiş, şiirler üzerinden dönemin kültür hayatı ve edebiyatı üzerine değerlendirmeler yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Son olarak Muhît’in şiirlerinin transkripsiyonlu metnine yer verilmiştir.
The last era of classical Turkish literature has a very colorful and rich character in terms of poetry, poetry, poetic attitudes and poetry environments. The social changes and transformations that have occurred during this period have, on the one hand, expanded the subjects of the poetry and on the other hand, prepared the ground for the appearance of new and different literary species. All of this has brought up a new literary pleasure. The poems of Muhammad, which are the subject of this work, are also attracted by their search for new speech in the framework of traditional styles and concepts. It is also possible to see the traces of the poet’s cultural relations and literary concepts in the poems studied, where the lights of the period gathered together, the Hoca Neşet mohiti and the palace bureaucracy. There is no information about Muhit in the texts, literary dates and other sources of works. The poems of Muhit are included in a mecmua registered in the National Library Writings Collection 06 Mil Yz A 3284/1 archive number. In the study, first of all, the poems of Muhit were studied in terms of shape and greatness, and the poems were attempted to evaluate the cultural life and literature of the period. Finally, the translation of the poems of Muhit was placed.

As a result of all these, a new literary genre has been introduced. The poems of Muhît, which is the subject of this study, draw attention with their search for new discourse within the framework of traditional styles and concepts. At the same time, it is possible to see the traces of the cultural relations and literary understandings of the Hoca Neşet neighborhood and the palace bureaucracy in the poems examined, where the poets is in the intellectuals of the period come together. There is no information about Muhît in the tezkîres, literary histories and other source works. The poems of Muhît are included in a journal registered to the archive number of the National Library Manuscript Collection 06 Mil Yz A 3284/1. In this study, firstly, the poems of Muhît are examined in terms of form and content and the poems are tried to be evaluated on the cultural life and literature of the period. Finally, the transcribed text of Muhît’s poems are given.
