İneklerde California Mastitis Testi ve Sütün Elektrik İletkenliğinin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, ineklerde sütün elektrik iletkenliği (Eİ) ile California mastitis testi'nin (CMT) karşılaştırılması ve öneminin ortaya konulması amaçlandı. Çalışmada bir işletmedeki 51 baş sağmal Holştayn ineğe ait 204 adet meme başı kullanıldı. Sütün Eİ, Milk Checker cihazı ile ölçüldü aynı meme loblarına CMT uygulanarak sonuçları kaydedildi. Sonuç olarak; sunulan çalışmada materyal olarak kullanılan ineklerin +1 derecede CMT'ye pozitif sonuç verdiği ve bu hayvanlara ait meme loblarındaki sütün Eİ'nin ise 5.81±0.06 mS/cm olduğu tespit edildi. Ayrıca, CMT sonuçlarıyla sütün Eİ sonuçlarının uyumsuz olduğu da belirlendi.
