Cynara Cardunculus’dan Üretilen Biyodizel Ve Karışımlarının İçten Yanmalı Motorların Yanma Karakteristikleri Ve Emisyonları Üzerine Etkilerinin İncelenmesi

Cynara cardunculus, çok yıllık bir Akdeniz bitkisidir. Cynara cardunculus, ülkemizde ve dünyada insanların gıda olarak kullanmadığı, su ihtiyacının az olması, veriminin yüksek olması ve ülkemizde tarım dışı arazilerde bile yetiştirilebilmesi nedeniyle sürdürülebilirlik noktasında oldukça büyük öneme sahip, bir C4 enerji bitkisidir. Bu çalışmada cynara cardunculus tohumu yağı metil esteri içeren karışımların modifiye edilmiş, 4 silindirli, turboşarjlı, ve common railli direk enjeksiyonlu bir sıkıştırma ile ateşlemeli (CI) motorda motor performans, emisyon ve yanma karakteristiklerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Yakıt olarak, dizel (D100), biyodizel (B100) ve biyodizel-dizel (B5-B7) yakıt ve karışımları kullanılmıştır. Testler tam yükte farklı motor devirlerinde yapılmıştır. Yapılan deneysel çalışmalar sonucunda maksimum motor gücü (44.7 kW) ve torku (169.68 Nm) B7 yakıt karışımımda elde elde edilirken en yüksek termik verim 2000 dev/dak’da %39 ile B5 yakıt karışımında elde edilmiştir. En düşük ÖYT 2000 dev/dak’da D100 yakıtı ve B5 yakıt karışımında sırasıyla 217.71 g/kWh ve 216.58 g/kWh ile elde edilmiştir. Maksimum silindir basınç değeri 3000 dev/dak.’da B7 yakıt karışımında 100.62 bar olarak elde edilmiştir. Maksimum ısı salınımı oranı 2000 ve 3000 dev/ dak. en yüksek ısı salınım oranı sırasıyla 522.89 kj/m3deg ve 576.12 kj/m3deg ile D100 yakıt karışımında elde edilmiştir.

Cynara cardunculus is a multi-year-old Mediterranean plant. Cynara cardunculus is a C4 energy plant that has a great importance in sustainability because of the low water demand, the high productivity, and it can be grown even in non-agricultural land in our country, where people do not use it as food. In this study, the effects of the mixture containing cynara cardunculus seed oil methyl ester have been studied on the engine performance, emission and burning characteristics of the modified, 4-cylinder, turbocharge, and common rail direct injection compression (CI) engine. As fuel, diesel (D100), biodiesel (B100) and biodiesel-diesel (B5-B7) fuel and mixtures have been used. Tests were performed in different motor circuits. The results of the experimental studies; the maximum engine power (44.7 kW) and turbo (169.68 Nm) are obtained in the fuel mixture B7 while the highest thermal efficiency is obtained in the fuel mixture B5 with 39% in the 2000 gig/min. The lowest OYT 2000 was obtained in the D100 fuel/min and B5 fuel mixture with 217.71 g/kWh and 216.58 g/kWh respectively. Maximum silinder pressure value is 3000 gigs/min.The B7 fuel mixture was obtained as 100.62 bars. The maximum heat release ratio is 2000 and 3000 gigs/min. The highest heat emission rate was achieved in the D100 fuel mixture with 522.89 kJ/m3deg and 576.12 kJ/m3deg respectively.
