Abstract:

Smile is an ancient act as the history of mankind, but has a great influence on human behavior and culture. With its aesthetic and relaxing side, participation in social memory gives flexibility to everything in the name. This makes it possible for social unity and association. Nowadays, one of the main mechanisms in which laughing items are reflected in printed form is humor magazines. In these magazines, the painters create original laughing items by eating from culture and thus make it possible to integrate in society in the context of laughing action. Painters feed the oral culture as well as the written culture, and they transform these literary species with the humorous aspects of the popular culture elements. In this way, the elements of the people's culture are updated and transformed, ensuring uninterrupted in culture. One of the popular cultural elements that the painters use intensely as a laughing material is the tradition of love. Cartoonists like Selçuk Erdem and Özer Aydoğan, who draw out the ridiculous material from the whole tradition, adopts the different aspects of the love culture to young generations with the power of ways and humor such as cultural deviation, contradiction, misunderstanding, logical errors and interculturality, and form a portrait of a "love and love tradition" in the youth. Thus, the media and technology prevent the unification of culture and human life through rapid consumption of content and corruption, and the cultural transmission is provided. In this study, we will explore how the love tradition affected negatively by the influences of modern times and the media is addressed through cartoons; how much the cartoons mentioned are fed by the love tradition and how and how much the collective culture is affected, in the context of the media, cartoons and love tradition.
