Abstract:

The aim of this work is to draw attention to the use of the formulistic numbers, which reflect the importance of Turkish mythology in world mythologies, but are also the basic stones that form the mythology, in the Dede Korkut Destans, which are from Turkish literary works and the Turkish people have both pre-Islamic and Islamic character. Of course, the numbers we hold to the review are the formulary numbers "one, two, three, four, five, seven, nine, four". In addition to the use of the story fiction in the Dede Korkut Book to increase the fluency and impressivity of the fiction in the Turkish mythology, the use of these numbers in religious, traditional and popular beliefs, the use of the universe, physics, materiality, spirituality and our daily life in terms of our understanding. We also tried to contribute to the lack we pointed out of the traces, places and effects of these numbers in the elements we count.
