Abstract:

This study aims to identify the bibliometric characteristics of the graduate theses published between 1987-2019 on disabled tourism in the framework of various parameters. Another purpose of the research is to facilitate the researchers by revealing the general characteristics of the field article on disabled tourism. For this purpose, the graduate theses in the field of tourism included in the database of the Higher Education Board have been scaned with the keywords "insufficient tourism", "insufficient tourism", "accessible tourism", "transmissible tourism" and "turism for everyone" and a total of 55 theses have been achieved. The dissertations are studied according to their years, kinds (graduate degree/doctoral), research patterns, keywords, writing language, the institutes they publish and the fields of anatomy. The theses included in the research scope were subjected to frequency analysis through a statistical program according to the relevant parameters and evaluated by bibliometric analysis. According to research findings, the vast majority of the theses written are master theses. Most of the social sciences institutes under the roof were found to use the most survey technique as a means of obtaining data in the dissertations they were written in eight separate main sciences. * This study was carried out in Mersin on 26-28 September 2019.
