In this study, ecto-parasite fauna of Umbrina cirrosa, an economically important marine fish species captured from Iskenderun Bay, was determined. To date, a total of 11 species of parasites have been reported from which has been widely distributed particularly in the Black Sea, Aegean Sea, Mediterranean, eastern Atlantic coasts. 4 of the 11 species reported were endo-parasites, whereas the other 7 species were ecto-parasites which belong to subclass, Copepoda. Two species of parasitic copepods, Parabrachiella richiardii and Parabrachiella hostilis were determined from the U. cirrosa indivudals examined in the present study and photographs of the key diagnostic characters of both species were presented. Of the two parasitic copepod species determined in İskenderun Bay, P. richiardii found in this research was reported for the first time from the Turkish coasts.
