Abstract:

Muvaffak Sami Onat (1919-1986) is one of the important artists that Konya has grown up. Artist; poet, translator, theatre writer and critic. Onat; Although it has been played in important magazines of the time, such as Varlık, Şadırvan, Hisar, Servet-i Fünun, the majority of its work is in the Konya newspapers and magazines. In addition to the artist’s te’lif and translation poems published in Konya, there are two theatrical works, three translations of stories and about seventy writings. Onat has expressed his views on literature, painting and music in these writings. But it is the criticism that has earned his real reputation. Muvaffak Sami is a poet who is personally engaged in poetry, painting, music. During his stay in Konya, he followed the concerts, theatres, exhibitions, and had written about them. The artist has evaluated his local poet/writer’s products and found findings about the past twelve years’ works. It was perceived as an authority by young poets/writers. The "Sevr-Lozan" game in which Sevr and Lozan agreed has features to be focused on even today. In the game "The Crazy" he tried to go into the depths of human love and conscience. In his writings concerning the periodic publications, especially in that period, he talked about magazines such as Revolution, Central Anadolu, Monument, Technical and them announce their names. The books that they wrote have gained reputation in the world of literature. It is the story of the new writers, and it is the story of the new writers, and the story of the new writers.
