Bu çalışmanın amacı, fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin özel gereksinimli öğrencilere eğitsel oyun tekniği ile fen derslerinin anlatılması hakkındaki görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın katılımcı grubu, 15 fen bilimleri öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Katılımcı grubu ölçüt örnekleme kriterleri dikkate alınarak oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak dokuz sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadan toplanan verilerin derinlemesine analizi yapıldığından veri analizinde içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular sonucunda fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin ‘kaynaştırma eğitimi’ hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıkları; ders esnasında öğretim, yöntem ve tekniklerini uygularken normal öğrenciler ve özel gereksinimli öğrenciler arasında bir farklılık oluşturmadıkları; öğretmenlerin derslere gelmeden önce özel gereksinimli öğrencilerine yönelik herhangi bir ön hazırlık yapmadıkları; eğitsel oyun tekniği hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıkları; eğitsel oyunun özel gereksinimli öğrencilerine uygulama konusuna olumlu bakmadıkları olumlu bakan öğretmenlerin ise özel gereksinimli öğrencisinin sınıfa uyum sağlayamaması, zaman yetersizliği, öğrencinin kendini rahatça ifade edememesi ve öğrencinin zeka düzeyi gibi nedenlerden dolayı uygulamanın zor olabileceği yönünde görüşleri belirlenmiştir.
The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of science teachers about teaching science lessons with educational games to inclusive students. The phenomenology design, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The participant group of this study consisted of 15 science teachers. The participant group was constituted with criterion sampling. In this study, a semi-structured interview form with nine questions was used as a data collection tool. Content analysis was used for the analyses. Obtained results in this study showed that science teachers have not sufficient knowledge about inclusive education; the teachers have not differenced the teaching methods and techniques intended for inclusive students at practice process; the teachers have not made any preparation for the inclusive student before the lessons; the teachers have not sufficient knowledge about educational game technique; the teachers have not positive about practicing educational game technique with the inclusive student. However, the teachers who are positive about it have also expressed their concerns due to the reasons such as challenges in class adaptation, lack of time, intelligence level, and students' difficulties in expressing themselves.
