Abstract:

CYBH.ın görülme sıklığı özellikle son 15 yıl içerisinde yeniden artmaya başlamıştır ve bu artma ile birlikte gençlerde CYBH ve ilişkili sorunların görülmesi kaçınılmazdır. Bu araştırmada Isparta Ili Keçiborlu ilçesi Meslek Yüksek Okulu öğrencilerinin CYBH hakkındaki bilgi düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlandı. Araştırmaya 924 öğrenci katıldı, yaş ortalaması 21.05±3.96 idi. Öğrencilerden CYBH ile ilgili bilgi puanı yeterli olanlar %35.9, CYBH ile ilgili bilgi puanı ortalaması 10 tam puan üzerinden 4.8±2.3 idi. CYBH bilgi puanı ortalaması erkeklerde (5.2±2.5) kızlardan (5.3±2.3) daha yüksekti (p=0.000). En çok bilinen CYBH %82.8 ile AIDS iken, CYBH.dan korunmak içinçok bilinen yöntem %76.8 ile kondom kullanımı oldu. CYBH ile ilgiliçok bilgi edinilen kaynak gazete, CYBH lar infertiliteye neden olabilir diyenler %33.4 idi. Sonuç olarak, araştırmada öğrencilerin genel olarak CYBH konusunda bilgi düzeyleri yetersizdi. CYBH açısından yüksek risk grubunda olan yüksek okul öğrencilerinin önemli bilgi gereksinimleri olduğu görüldü. Bu konuda eğitim programları yapılması yararlı olacaktır. Abstract SDU Medical Faculty, Department of Public Health, Studies of Region of Education And Investigation in Keçiborlu The status of the information concerning the sexually transmitted diseases in the students in a school of vocation. Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) in the whole world is an important public health problem. The incidence of the STD began to re-increase particularly in the past 15 years and the problems related with STD is inevitable. The aim of the study is the analysis of the information levels concerning the STD in students in Vocational School of Keçiborlu District, Isparta City. 924 students participated in the study, and the mean age was 21.05±3.96. 35.9% of the students had enough information score about the STD, the mean score of the whole group was 4.8±2.3, regarding the 10 full points scoring. The mean knowledge point of STD is 5.2±2.5 of boys higher than 5.3 ±2.3 of girls (p=0.000). The most familiar STD was AIDS with the percentage of 82.8% and the most familiar method about the protection from the STD was condom use with 76.8%. The newspaper was the most informing source about the STD, whereas the percentage of the ones approving that the STDs could acuse infertility was 33.4%. Consequenly during this study, it has been observed that students don.t have sufficient knowledge level about the STD. High school students who.ve been at high risk about STD, have knowledgeneeds, It will be useful to have education programmes about this subject.
