Abstract:

Developmental assessment is an opportunity for every child and family, and it is of great importance not only in determining a severe specific need, but also in determining a mild-level specific need. The Special Requirements Report for Children (SOLGER) ensures that children from childhood are certified by determining their special needs and benefiting from support and educational services. Child developers who graduated from four-year bachelor education in the framework of daily teaching conduct studies on the development of children in health institutions and organizations. The most fundamental footprint of these studies is the developmental evaluations, the results obtained by the evaluations keeps the light of the stages of recognition and determination of specific requirements. In this collection, the role of children’s developers in the process of drawing up the regulations on the health council’s reports, the role of children’s developers in the process of drawing up the regulations on the health council’s reports, the areas of needs they can evaluate, the size of the tools and methods they can use. In addition, considering the population intensity in Turkey, the number of specialized doctors, the level of knowledge about the development of children of health workers and the universally recognized importance of early intervention, the need for children developers who work in health institutions and organizations, evaluate, monitor and support the development of the child becomes even more clear.
