Abstract:

The aim of the study is to illuminate the views of the Contemporary Turkish Thinker Hilmi Ziya ÜLKEN (1901-1974) on the important issues of philosophy on the matter of religion and religion. There are many kinds of religions that are counted, judged, worshipped, connected, and religious. The historical traditions are described by religious classes. Classifications are sociologically and ethnologically beneficial, but they are insufficient in explaining the essence of religions. The religions of sociologists are committed to society; the minds are reduced to thought, idrake, conception, and reasoning. The Dynamistic recipes appear efficient in searching for the common qualities in religions, but they blend holiness with spiritual energy. Today’s idealist philosophers see religion, universal concepts, ideals; existencialists see the mysterious feeling of religion, as a religious depression. According to the country, there is in religion both the surrounding of the supernatural ideals, and the mysterious sense of the religious, the "upernatural" face of holiness. We can understand the two objective-subjective, ideal-real sights of religion with virtual intuition. The subject of religion is the sensation, etc., all the data are the existence.  Religion always exceeds knowledge and thinking. This field of love gives the human existence a new horizon of "belief". The absolute placement of "Love" creates the space of love and faith for the human being.
