Bu araştırma, Covid-19 Pandemisi sürecinde Teleworking (uzaktan/evden çalışma) sisteminin ve sosyal medyayı etkin kullanmanın çocuklu çiftlerde aile içi iletişimi üzerindeki etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın çalışma grubu, kartopu örneklem yöntemiyle belirlenmiş olup, İstanbul İlinde ikamet eden, 20 erkek, 20 kadın olmak üzere 40 yetişkin, evli ve çocuklu bireyden oluşmaktadır. Veriler sosyo-demografik form ve yarı yapılandırılmış açık uçlu sorular aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanması aşamasında nitel araştırma desenlerinden derinlemesine görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca görüşmeler çevrimiçi platformlarda, canlı görüşmeler ile yüz yüze yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi ve kategorizasyon yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın içerik analizi verilerin kodlanması, temaların bulunması, kodların ve temaların düzenlenmesi, bulguların tanımlanması ve yorumlanması olmak üzere dört kategoride incelenmiştir. Bir araya getirilen veriler daha önceden oluşturulan kavramsal temalarla ilişkilendirilmiştir. Araştırmada, Covid-19 Pandemisi döneminde değişen iş, eğitim ve aile yaşamına, çift ve ebeveyn-çocuk ilişkilerinin ”yeni normale“ alışmaları, bu süreçte yaşadıkları ruhsal, sosyal ve ekonomik durumlar ile süreci en az zararla atlatabilmenin yollarını bireylerin diğer aile bireyleriyle birlikte aşmaya çalıştıkları belirlenmiştir.
This study was conducted to study the impact of the teleworking system and the social media use on family communication in children’s couples during the Covid-19 pandemic process. The work group of this study is determined by the patch sample method and consists of 40 adults, married and children, including 20 men and 20 women, residing in Istanbul. The data is collected through socio-demographic forms and semi-configured open end questions. During the data collection stage, a deep-interview technique of quality research patterns has been used. The conversations were also made face-to-face on online platforms, with live conversations. In the analysis of data, content analysis and categorization methods have been used. The study’s content analysis was studied in four categories: data coding, topics finding, coding and topics editing, findings identifying and interpreting. The data gathered are linked to the conceptual topics that were previously created. The study found that the changes in the work, education and family life during the Covid-19 pandemic period, the "new normal" habits of couples and parent-child relationships, the mental, social and economic conditions they experience in this process, and the ways that individuals try to overcome the process with the least harm, together with other family members.
Present study aims to examine the effects of Teleworking and active media use on parents and intra-family communication during Covid-19 Pandemic.The participants were chosen with snowball sampling technique, from married couples with children who live in Istanbul. The sample group consisted of 20 males, 20 females; 40 participants in total. The data were collected from socio-demographic form and by semi-structured in-depth interviews. The interviews were conducted at online platforms and alive. Besides, all interviews were made as both online and face-to-face. The interviews were recorded with the permission of the participants; these records were listened and decoded. Categorization technique was used for analyzing the quantitative data. As a result of the study it is found that participants tried to adapt themselves to new working, education and family life, get accustomed to "new normal" as couples and parents and cope with psychological, social and economic failures they face during Covid -19 with the support of their families' members.
