Metafor; bireylerin bir olaya, kavrama ya da olguya benzetmeler, mecazlar ya da anlamlar yoluyla yaklaşıp duygu ve düşüncelerini ortaya koymasıdır. Metafor yolu ile benzetme yapılırken aslında birey kendisi için oluşturduğu anlamı yorumlamaktadır. Bu araştırma ile hem görsel hem işitsel klasik sanat eserlerinin önce tek tek sonra bir arada verilmesi suretiyle lise öğrencilerinde açığa çıkardığı duyguları metaforlar yolu ile ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma; nitel araştırma yöntemine dayalı olgu bilim çerçevesinde şekillenmiştir. Olgular deneyimler, algılar ve yönelimler gibi çeşitli biçimlerde açığa çıkabilir. Bu bağlamda araştırma sürecinde belirlenen “klasik sanat eserlerine dair duygular” olgusu üzerine odaklanmaya dayalı metaforik bir uygulama gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi ve Fen Lisesi’nde eğitim gören 7’si kız 4’ü erkek olmak üzere 11 ortaöğretim öğrencisinin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu öğrenciler ile paylaşılan formlarda her bir klasik sanat eserine yönelik olarak “…klasik sanat eserine dair duygum…… gibidir çünkü….’’ cümlesini tamamlamaları istenmiştir. Öğrencilerden tek bir metafor ve belirledikleri metafora dair düşüncelerini yazmaları istenmiştir. Öğrencilerle formların paylaşımı üç aşamada gerçekleşmiştir. Birinci aşamada sadece Türk sanatçılara ait klasik resim eserlerine dair metaforlar ve bu metaforlara ilişkin düşünceleri, ikinci aşamada sadece klasik müzik eserlerine ait metaforlar ve bu metaforlara dair düşünceleri, üçüncü aşamada ise hem klasik resim hem de klasik müzik eserlerine ait metafor ve bunlara ilişkin düşünceleri istenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler tematik analiz çerçevesinde temalaştırılmıştır. Araştırma; öğrencilerin ortaya koydukları metaforlara ilişkin düşünceleri alanyazına dayalı bir yaklaşım ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada sunulan klasik eserlere verilen metaforlar ile resim ve müzik eserinin birlikte sunulmasıyla verilen metaforlar benzerlik göstermiştir. Bu da katılımcıların resim ve müzik eserlerini birlikte değerlendirirken duyguların resme göre biçimsel ağırlıklı şekillendiği, müziğin ise destekleyici bir unsur olarak kaldığını ortaya koymaktadır.
Metaphor is the approach of individuals to an event, conception or fact through comparisons, mecas or meanings and expressing their feelings and thoughts. When comparison is made by the metaphor path, the individual actually explains the meaning he creates for himself. With this research, both visual and hearing classical art works are given first and later together to high school students to reveal their feelings through metaphors. The research is based on the quality research method in the context of the fact science. Facts can be revealed in various forms, such as experiences, perceptions and directions. In this context, a metaphoric application was carried out based on the focus on the fact of the "sentiment of classical art works" determined in the research process. The research was carried out in the 2018-2019 educational year with the participation of 11 high school students, including 7 girls and 4 men, who studied at the Science and Arts Center and Science High School. In the forms shared with these students, to each classical art work, “the feeling of the classical art work is... because...” He was asked to complete his phrase. Students are asked to write a single metaphor and their thoughts about the metaphor they define. The forms are shared with the students in three stages. In the first phase, only the metaphors of the classical paintings of Turkish artists and their thoughts on these metaphors, in the second phase, only the metaphors of the classical music works and their thoughts on these metaphors, and in the third phase, both the metaphors of the classical paintings and the classical music works and their thoughts on them were requested. The data received is submitted in the framework of the thematic analysis. The research was analyzed by an area-based approach to students’ thoughts about the metaphors they present. The metaphors given to the classical works presented in the study were similar to the metaphors given with the presentation of painting and music works together. This also shows that while participants evaluate paintings and music works together, the emotions are formally focused according to the painting, and the music remains as a supporting element.
