Abstract:

Covid 19 pandemisi ortaya çıktığı andan itibaren insanlığın alışık olduğu dünya düzeninin temellerini sarsmış ve alışılmış dünya düzeninde büyük değişimlere yol açarak yeni bir normal yaratmıştır. İş hayatı da günlük hayatın vazgeçilmez bir parçası olarak bu değişimden ciddi boyutlarda etkilenmiştir. Sektörel bazda Covid 19’un en çok etkilediği sektörlerin başında sağlık sektörü gelmektedir. Sağlık sektörü çalışanları diğer sektörlerin birçoğunda olduğu gibi evden çalışma imkânına sahip olamamış ve virüsle en ön saflarda mücadele etmişlerdir. Ayrıca pandemi ile birlikte sağlık çalışanlarının iş yükü önemli oranda artmıştır. Bu durumun sağlık çalışanları üzerinde bazı olumsuz etkileri olması muhtemeldir. Bu doğrultuda bu çalışma kapsamında sağlık çalışanlarının Covid 19 pandemisi öncesi ve sonrası dönemlerde iş güvencesizliği algıları, algılanan iş stresleri ve işten ayrılma niyetleri düzeyleri incelenerek bu değişkenler bakımından Covid 19 pandemisi öncesi ve sonrası dönemde anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığı tespit etmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında ayrıca sağlık çalışanlarının iş güvencesizliği algıları, algılanan iş stresleri ve işten ayrılma niyetleri arasındaki ilişkiler de incelenerek Covid 19 öncesi ve sonrası dönemlerde söz konusu değişkenler arasındaki ilişkilerin gücü de tespit edilmeye çalışmıştır. Sonuç olarak sağlık çalışanlarının iş güvencesizliği algıları, algılanan iş stresleri ve işten ayrılma niyetleri ortalamaları arasında Covid 19 öncesi ve sonrası dönemde anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Her 3 değişken açısından da Covid 19 pandemisi sonrası ortalamlar Covid 19 öncesine göre daha yüksektir. Yani Covid 19 pandemisi sonrasında sağlık çalışanlarının iş güvencesizliği algıları, algılanan iş stresleri ve işten ayrılma niyetleri Covid 19 pandemisi öncesindeki döneme göre artmıştır. Değişkenler arası ilişkiler incelendiğinde ise hem Covid 19 öncesi hem de Covid 19 sonrası dönemde iş güvencesizliği algısı ile işten ayrılma niyeti arasında pozitif orta şiddetli ilişki, iş güvencesizliği algısı ile algılanan iş stresi arasında pozitif orta şiddetli ilişki ve algılanan iş stresi ile işten ayrılma niyeti arasında pozitif orta şiddetli ilişki tespit edilmiştir.

From the moment of the Covid 19 pandemic appearance, it has broken the foundations of the world order to which mankind is accustomed and has created a new normal, leading to major changes in the usual world order. The work life is also seriously affected by this change as an indispensable part of everyday life. On the sectoral basis, Covid 19 is the main sector affected by the health sector. The healthcare workers have not been able to work from home, as in many other sectors, and have been fighting the virus in the front lines. In addition, the burden of health workers has increased significantly. It is likely that this situation will have some negative effects on health workers. According to this study, the health workers’ perceptions of uncertainty at work in the pre- and post-Covid 19 pandemic periods, the level of detected work stress and the intention to leave the work in terms of these variables have been attempted to determine whether there is a significant difference in the pre- and post-Covid 19 pandemic period. In the framework of the study, he also studied the relationships between healthcare workers’ job insecurity perceptions, detected work stresses and intentions to leave work, and tried to identify the strength of the relationships between these variables in the periods before and after Covid 19. As a result, significant differences between health workers’ job insecurity perceptions, detected work stresses and the average intentions to leave work were found in the Covid 19 period before and after. In terms of each of the three variables, the average after Covid 19 pandemic is higher than the previous Covid 19. That is, after Covid 19 pandemic, health workers’ uncertainty of work uncertainty, detected work stress and intentions to leave work have increased compared to the period before Covid 19 pandemic. When the variable relationships are studied, the positive middle-intensive relationship between the perception of uncertainty of work and the intention of leaving the work in both the period before and after Covid 19 and the positive middle-intensive relationship between the perception of uncertainty of work and the perception of work stress and the perception of work stress and the perception of work stress and the intention of leaving the work has been identified.

As an indispensable part of daily life, business life has been seriously affected by this change. Health sector is one of the sectors most affected by Covid 19 on a sectoral basis. Health sector workers have not had the opportunity to work from home as in many other sectors and have struggled with the virus at the forefront. In addition, the workload of healthcare workers has increased significantly with the pandemic. This situation is likely to have some negative effects on healthcare professionals. With this study, the job insecurity perceptions, perceived job stresses and their intention to quit of healthcare workers will be examined pre and post Covid 19 pandemic period. By considering these variables, it will be tried to determine whether there is a significant difference pre and post Covid 19 pandemic period. This study will also examine the relationships between health workers' job insecurity perceptions, perceived job stresses and their intention to quit. The strength of the relationships between these variables will be determined by examining pre and post Covid 19 pandemic period. As a result, significant differences were detected between healthcare workers' job insecurity perceptions, perceived job stresses, and their intention to quit of job, between the pre and post Covid 19 period. In terms of all 3 variables, the averages after the Covid 19 pandemic are higher than before the Covid 19. In addition, a positive medium correlation was detected between the perception of job insecurity and perceived job stres levels. A positive medium correlation was detected between the perception of job insecurity and intention to quit of work. A positive medium correlation was detected between perceived job stress and intention to quit of work.
