Accordingly, many developed and developing countries give more importance to this matter day by day and continue to increase their efforts to produce high value-added products. From this point of view, the study examined the correlation between the research and development expenditures and high quality product export of the BRICS and MIST country groups via panel data method for the 2000-2015 period. According to the results acquired, it was revealed that there was a unidirectional causality correlation from high-tech product export to R & D expenditures in China, Turkey and Brasil and that correlation was observed to be bidirectional in South Korea. Direct foreign capital inflow in countries such as China and Brasil increased the technology transfer and the technology transfer increased the quality product expert.
