In this study, a curved cable, which is close to the lengths of the central openness, is suspended and a suspended bridge system is taken into account in the case of asynchronous ground movement, the behavior of the bridges concerned is determined in the influence of near-fee and remote-fee ground movements. The Tatara Bridge built in Japan is selected as the model of the lifted cable bridge, while the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge built in Turkey is selected as the model of the lifted bridge. Analysis in the three-dimensional time-definition area of the bridge systems taken into account was carried out for the near-fee and remote-fee ground movement components of the Chi-Chi earthquake. The results from the study show that the wave spread effect has a complex impact on bridge behaviors and that the wave spread rate and the structural reactions taken into consideration can increase and reduce seismic reactions. On the other hand, it is clear that the cable-backed bridges, which are about 1000 meters of central openness and therefore have higher vibration periods compared to other structural systems, may show greater seismic demands when exposed to near-fee ground movements.
