As a result of recent developments in technologies such as cloud computing and the Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 has emerged as a major manufacturing strategy. The industry 4.0 transition process has already begun in advanced countries and there are many manufacturing companies in these countries that successfully implement industry 4.0 technologies. On the other hand, manufacturing companies in developing countries face various organizational, technical and financial barriers in the use of Industry 4.0 technologies. This study examines the factors that negatively affect the process of transition to Industry 4.0 in the manufacturing industry in Turkey. First of all, important factors have been determined by using surveys and scanning literature. Later, the level of importance of these factors was calculated by the analytical network process and the DEMATEL (The Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) multi-critical decision-making methods. In the final stage, solutions alternatives that will help reduce the effects of factors have been determined and prioritized with the quality house.
