Since the establishment of the Ottoman State, it has a tradition and a moral structure. There is a tradition built on the moral structure of the Islamic religion and the moral structure of the Islamic philosophy. But in the last period of the state (from Tanzimat to the Republic) it was under the influence of the West while efforts were made for the development of science and technology. On the other hand, this Western influence has not only caused technical, military changes, but has also caused a change in all social aspects. Our study will focus on how this change transforms the moral field by the renewal activities in the military, technical and scientific fields, what kind of changes and disturbances it causes from the state’s body to the public structure and the educational policy. From here, the movement will try to investigate the place and importance of this distortion, that is, moral corruption, what is the moral knowledge that suggests to prevent the collapse of values.
