Talip Apaydın, one of the writers of the important village institutes of the Turkish novel after 1950, uses a single language when speaking about the Anadolu village and its peasant. In this novel, Talip Apaydın tells the transition of the Anatolian farmer from the primary agricultural method to the modern agricultural method. With the entrance of the village tractor, the work will be done early and the farmer must be machinered in the farming through a young boy, Arif, expresses his wish. Talip Apaydın's novel "Yellow Tractor" has been studied in terms of the novel's technique and has been attempted to focus on the image, subject and structure that forms the main element of the novel. In the novel, the representative of the primary agricultural method is Izzet Ağa with his son Arif and the teacher who wants to make machinery in agriculture, the conflict, the daily life of the Özeler village and the dream of Arif to get a tractor. While in this novel we talk about the rural life and the socio-economic culture of Anatolia, it is possible to say that the narrative used a language for renewal. The aim of this study is to evaluate Talip Apaydın's Yellow Traktor novel in terms of the novel technique.
