Blood transfusion is generally considered safe when the infused blood is tested only known viruses like HIV and hepatitis C. However, there are varieties of transfusion risks, many of which are non-infectious in nature, cannot be entirely eliminated, Patients having blood transfusion are put at risk of getting the wrong blood infusion or of delayed management of adverse reactions, through misidentification and lack of observation. Thus, it lies on the hands of health teams not to have life threatening problems of transfusion, that is performed for life saving. Nurses must be more active on this matter in order to avoid the possible problems of transfusion of blood and blood products. Therefore, they should follow the steps, from blood letting from the donor to the end of the transfusion
