Abstract Violence against women, child and adolescents in Cuba for gender´s motives, still constitutes a vast area in which to inquire sociologically. The reality lived by many women, girls and adolescents in our country, leads the call for new ways of interpreting and transforming the problem, from the theoretical order and from the practical order. In this work, we present the results and analysis of a recent doctoral research about this problem, in the geographical space of Moa, in Holguín province. The study was realized using the methodology of Single Inclusive Case Study Type 10; was based on theoretical and methodological triangulation and on an extensive compilation of quantitative information about violence against women, child and girls, processed through descriptive statistics. The study group was selected by means of intentional sampling, and it was realized using techniques such as the life history to 47 women victims of violence and 2 male victimizers; interviews with 25 key informants; observation and sociological analysis of discourse. The main results show a high number of women, child and adolescents victims of gender violence (with a special impact of sexual violence and incestuous relationships towards child and adolescents); stories of lives marked by the silencing of experiences, the patriarchal cultures of the geographic spaces studied, the ineffectiveness of the work of the FMC and public policies to help transform the reality of gender violence in Moa.
