Bu araştırmanın amacı, evli bireylerin otantikliklerinin cinsiyet, yaş, öğrenim düzeyi, evlilik öncesi ilişki süresi, eşler arası yaş farkı ve evlilik süresi açısından anlamlı fark gösterip göstermediğini incelemektir. Araştırmaya 218 kadın ve 196 erkek olmak üzere, 414 evli birey katılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri toplama araçları Otantiklik Ölçeği (OÖ) ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu’dur. Verilerin analizinde MANOVA, ANOVA, bağımsız gruplar t testi ve Kruskal-Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre katılımcıların cinsiyeti, yaşı ve evlilik öncesi ilişki süresine göre Otantiklik Ölçeği’nin üç alt boyutunda anlamlı fark olduğu saptanmıştır. Bununla birlikte, katılımcıların öğrenim düzeyi, eşler arası yaş farkı ve evlilik süresi değişkenlerine göre katılımcıların Otantiklik Ölçeği’nin alt boyutlarından aldıkları puanların anlamlı bir fark göstermediği belirlenmiştir.
The aim of this study is to examine whether the authenticity of married individuals differ in terms of gender, age, education status, pre-marital relationship duration, age gap between partners and duration of marriage. Participants of the study are 414 married individuals, 218 women and 196 men. The data collection tools of the research are Authenticity Scale (AS) and Personal Information Form. In analyzing the data, MANOVA, ANOVA, independent samples t test and Kruskal-Wallis test were used. According to the findings; there was a significant difference in three sub-dimensions of the Authenticity Scale in terms of gender, age and pre-marital relationship duration. However, there was not a significant difference in three sub-dimensions of the Authenticity Scale in terms of the education status of the participants, the age gap between the partners and the duration of the marriage.
