Abstract:

Russia is Turkey 19. After the second century, he took part and occupied. He then made administrative, social and economic arrangements to exploit the region in accordance with his own interests. As a result of the arrangements made, about fifty years underground and ground resources of the region were exploited by the Russians. As a result of subsequent political developments, especially during World War I, the Tsar was in need of a new human resource. In order to meet this need, the Tsar was issued a ferman on 25 June 1916 in order to take those who were exempt from military service before this date to the army. The Tsarish Russia, who wants to employ Turkistan’s non-Russian territory in the army’s occupational affairs, recognized the possibility that the exploitation will be directed to human resources. This last development caused the rebellion that began in Semerkant first and then spread throughout the region. In our study, we will discuss the developments that occurred during the rebellion in the 1916 Turkistan Rebellion in the province of Secret Derya on the basis of Russian archive documents and related literature.
