Mektup, insanın iç dünyasını yansıtan önemli bir araç olmasının yanında bir belge olabilme niteliğini de taşır. Özel mektuplar ise birbirlerini yakından tanıyan kişiler arasında iletişimi sağlaması bakımından hem yazan hem yazılan kimsenin birçok özelliğini aydınlatır. İçinde mutlaka bir komik durum ve gülünçlüğü bulunduran mizah ise, bir nevi “insanın ayırıcı psikolojik parmak izi”dir. Mehmet Âkif’in gerek Safahat’ında gerekse günlük hayatında ailesi ile dost ve arkadaşlarıyla, çevresiyle ilişkilerinde mizaha çok sık başvurduğu, mizahın onda adeta “mizaçlaşarak” bir üslup haline geldiği görülmektedir. Mehmet Âkif’in yayımlanmış mektupları ile ilgili çalışmalar yapılmışsa da hususen mektuplarında mizahla ilgili bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Bu çalışmamızda Mehmet Âkif Ersoy’un özellikle İstanbul’dan 1925 yılı sonu itibariyle gittiği ve 19 Haziran 1936’ya kadar kaldığı 11 yıllık Mısır döneminin yoğunlukta olduğu; kurmaca olmayan ve onun hayatı ve sanatına ışık tutacak birer belge niteliği taşıyan, yayınlanmış özel mektuplarında mizahın izi sürülmüştür. Mehmet Âkif’in özellikle Mısır’dan ailesine arkadaş ve dost çevresine yazdığı özel mektuplarında; temelinde ironi olan latifeler, nükteler, istihzalar, fıkralar vb.; mizahi bir dil karşımıza çıkmaktadır.
The letter also carries the nature of being a document, in addition to being an important instrument that reflects the inner world of man. Private letters illuminate many characteristics of both the writer and the writer in order to provide communication between the people who know each other closely. If there is a funny situation and a ridiculous humor in it, it is a “differentiating psychological fingerprint of man.” It appears that in the daily life of Muhammad al-Mahdi, with his family and friends and friends, in his relationships with his surroundings, humour is often applied to humour, and the humour has become a "misach" in it. If the work was done on the published letters of Mehmet Âkif, no work was done on the humor in his letters. In this work, the trace of humour was traced in the private letters published by Mehmet Akif Ersoy, especially from Istanbul at the end of 1925 and the 11 year old Egyptian period that he stayed until 19 June 1936 was in intensity and was a documentary that would keep his life and art light. In his private letters, especially from Egypt to his family, to his friends and friends around, the irony is based on latifes, nickts, spellings, jokes, etc. A humorous language comes to us.
A letter have the characteristics of being a document, besides being an important link for reflecting a person's inner world. Personal letters enlighten lots of characteristics of a person who writes and is written in point of connection among people that know each other. But homour, that absolutely contains a funny situation or ridiculousness, is a kind of seperative psychological fingerprint. In either Mehmet Âkif's Safahat or in his daily relationships with his family, friends and environment, it is seen that he often uses humour and that becomes a strong language of him temperamentally. Even though the published letters of Mehmet Âkif was studied on, there is no research on humour in his private letters. In this study we will search the trace of humour in Mehmet Âkif Ersoy's published and nonfictional letters, which are the documents that will enlighten his life and art. These letters were mostly written in the period when Mehmet Âkif Ersoy went to Egypt from İstanbul in the end of 1925 and stayed there until 19.06.1936. In Mehmet Âkif Ersoy’s private letters ,which were especially written to his family and friends from Egypt ,we see jokes, mock and anecdotes etc that based on a humorous and ironic language.
