Abstract:

Coronavirus disease 2019 [coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID- 19)] is a very infectious disease that starts first in China's city of Wuhan and spreads over the world in a short time and affects millions of people. Initially, COVID-19 was as a severe respiratory disease. The typical signs and findings during this period were the findings that could be expected from a respiratory virus such as fever, cough and respiratory impairment; the virus quickly spread to affect more people and the number of studies carried out increased over time, whereas the findings could occur in many ways. Incomfort, anxiety, common muscle-addition pain along with headaches, taste and smell problems have been in neurological symptoms. The widespread report of neurological symptoms, such as loss of taste and smell in COVID-19, suggests that the cranial nerves may also be affected. In this context, COVID-19, can cause a variety of neurological symptoms, including peripheral face ulcers. In this case, we intended to contribute to the neurological symptoms caused by COVID-19 by presenting a young male patient with peripheral facial paralysis diagnosed with COVID-19.
