Bu çalışmanın amacı 3. molar haricindeki daimi dişlerin gömülü kalma sıklığını araştırmak ve bu sıklığın çenelere ve cinsiyete göre dağılımını yapmaktı. Mevcut incelemede yaşları 12–25 arasında değişen 2291 hastanın (1382 kadın, 909 erkek) panoramik filmi incelendi. 131 hastada 163 tane gömülü diş tespit edildi. Bu dişlerin 110 tanesi maksiller kanin, 16 tanesi mandibular 2. premolar ve 37 tanesi diğer dişlerdi. 163 adet gömülü dişin 136 tanesi üst çenede; 27 tanesi ise alt çenede gözlendi. Hastaların % 4,67’sinde (n:107) tek diş, % 0.83’ünde (n:19) iki diş ve % 0,22’sinde (n:5) üç veya daha fazla sayıda diş gömülüdür. Bilateral olarak tespit edilen gömülü dişlerin 28 tanesi üst kanin, 12 tanesi alt 2. premolar, 6 tanesi üst 1. premolar ve 4 tanesi üst orta kesici dişti
The purpose of this study was to investigate the frequency of permanent teeth except for the 3rd molar and to distribute this frequency according to the chest and gender. The current study examined a panoramic film of 2291 patients (1382 women, 909 men) between the ages of 12-25 years. In 131 patients, 163 buried teeth were detected. 110 of these teeth were maxillary blood, 16 of them mandibular 2nd premol and 37 of them other teeth. 136 of the 163 buried teeth were observed in the upper chest and 27 in the lower chest. 4.67% of patients (n:107) have one tooth, 0.83% (n:19) two tooth and 0.22% (n:5) three or more tooth. 28 of the buried teeth identified bilaterally are upper blood, 12 of them lower 2nd premol, 6 of them upper 1nd premol and 4 of them upper middle cutting teeth.
