Abstract Considering the absence of communicational theories that face the spontaneously and unpredictable daily communications process in quotidian, the paper aims to reflect about the concept of psycho geography, in order to approach that purpose. The term psycho geography has been used by the International Situationist to designate their studies about the influences that reache the relationship between the individual and the geographic ambient. We propose a bind between the practical/empirical Situationist trends and the theories of geographers such as Augustin Berque, Milton Santos and Henry Lefebvre, for whom the relation of the humankind with the environment are, ultimately, a communicative relationship.
