The objective of this study is to find out the level of job satisfaction among the employees of marketing and impact of their job satisfaction on organizational commitment. Employment of human resources with appropriate quality is still of great importance for establishments and the quality of employment at the marketing departments of organizations bears similarly the same level of importance. The current study is of importance, because it is specially carried out on employees of marketing department. The study was carried out on the various businesses employing marketing staff in Edremit Gulf of Balikesir. 171 businesses were visited for data collection with the interviews and questionnaires applied on 208 marketing staff members. The questionnaire form consisted of three sections and 16 questions about demographic factors, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Analyses of the findings revealed that job satisfaction among the marketing staff affected their organizational commitment, and demographic features of the participants showed that there is a significant relation between job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
