Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to determine the employment expectations of the Y generation. In the study, Fethiye Ali Sıtkı Mefharet Koçman A.S.M.K. The 539 students who studied at the Professional High School were asked if they saw themselves working on their professions in the future. According to the results of the analysis, the expectations for the future are low for girls, the students of the second class, those who plan to work outside the field, and those who prefer the section they read because it is not an alternative. Also, those with a score average above 2 and those who plan to work in their own field in the industry are high expectations for the future.

Vocational School and they were asked whether they could see themselves in a place related to their profession in the future. According to the results of the analysis, the expectation of the future of the girl students, who read in the second grade, who plan to work outside of the field, and who prefer to read their part because haven’t got another alternative are low. In addition to this, who have a grade average over 2 and who plan to work in their field in the sector have high expectations about the future
