Abstract:

Literary works are important to bring the individual and society into a conscious state and to transfer values to the next generations. For a society that wants to build its future and does not want to lose its values, it is very valuable to communicate educational values to the interlocutor through literary texts. In this context, almost all societies write works aimed at children and young people to live their own values. There are hundreds of literary texts written especially for children and young people today. There is no doubt that modern texts contain a lot of valuable information for today’s reader. But the value of education is not just a matter to be provided with today’s texts. It can also be used in the classical Turkish literature. Classical Turkish literature is sometimes criticized by being away from society and the trouble of society. It is not true that this criticism is spread in general. In the text of the classical Turkish literature, there are many works that are qualified to erase this criticism. Especially ethical, religious-tasavvufic measures can be adopted in terms of educational values. in the XVII. From the poets of the century, the educational values of Za'îfî's Ahbârü'l-'Iber mesnevisi have been found in the findings, and the importance of using the text of the classical Turkish literature in parallel with the education of values has been emphasized.
