Purpose: It is made as a identifier for the purpose of comparing the level of risk of nutrition and eating habits in older people living in cities, towns and villages. Tool and Method: The study was carried out as identifying between 15 June 2011 and 1 June 2012. The study included 60 years and older, 199 years old (huzurevi = 63, rural = 68, city = 68) in the study. All the volunteers were involved in the research. In towns and towns, the method is used. The data was collected by face-to-face interviews, size and body weight measurements were made. For the collection of data, the survey form (socio-demographic characteristics, general health status, nutritional health habits) and the "Nutrition Screening Initivate's-NSI Nutrition Health Control List" were used. Results: The average age of participants is 70.82±7.78 years, 41.2% are women and 51.8% are married. It has been found that elderly individuals have a high BMI (excess weight: 48.2%, obese: 24.1). The NSI risk levels for elderly people have statistically significant differences between 36.2 per cent, 34.0 per cent in cities and 29.8 per cent in rural areas (p<.023). It has been found that those living in the village and in the city consume more milk than those living in the village and in the city. In towns and countryside, the elderly consumes less meat than those who live in the countryside. Those who live in a peaceful state describe their physical health as bad. Most of the non-dental elderly, the majority of those with permanent constipation, live in peace. The study found that the elderly living in the cottage had a higher risk of nutrition than those living in the countryside and towns.
