There is a prominent view that qualifies the starting point of image studies as defining the “others”. While considering this study, it is not intended to reflect only the “other”. Image to different disciplines; It is also known to depend on communication, history, psychology, politics, sociology, literature. Image is a reflection of a combination of ideas through literary works to make the expression in the text more impressive and more vivid, Therefore, image studies are guided by words. This study will try to prove how Hristo Botev defined us Turks as others, and how he transferred this to his readers. This image in Bulgarian Literature has been used as propaganda within the frameworks of some political views. This propaganda and the process of them being enforced into the cultural memory have formed systematically; thus, creating these clear lines where nationalist concepts of Bulgarian nationalism, whose symbol is Botev, are clarified. This study focuses on one of the revolutionary heroes, poet Hristo Botev, who died in April Uprising in 1876, and the Turkish image in his poems.
