Since its inception, the science of hadith has developed according to historical conditions and has taken its place along with its sub-sciences such as isnad and rij¬āl among the original sciences produced by Islamic thought. On the other hand, the science of hadith has contributed to the development of related branches of science from history to language and transformed them to serve itself. In this article, the manifestations of the effects of hadith on the science of Islamic history in this context are discussed through the isnad, tarājīm books, world and general history books and ansāb books. The isnad, Isnad, which is basically used to determine the belonging of a hadith or word to the person to whom it is relative, has also been transferred to the science of history, because most of the first historians are hadith scholars. Therefore, in the books of Islamic history, isnad has been used as the basis of narrations. The structure and content of the tabaqāt and tarājīm books developed by the hadith scholars to determine the status of narrators in the isnads have also greatly influenced the book of tabaqāt books written in other branches of science. For example, in a sufī tabaqāt includes situation of the person who biography was given in jarh wa ta’dīl, the people to whom he narrated the hadith, those who narrated it from him, and examples from the hadith he narrated are included. World history and general history books have also undergone a transformation with the influence of hadith science, and the event-centered historiography has been largely replaced by biography-centered historiography. The influence of the science of hadith is clearly seen in the structure and content of the biographies in these books. Finally, the science of nasab experienced a great transformation with the influence of the science of hadith. In fact, it has completely changed its direction with the effect of social changes and the science of hadith, which it developed in order to highlight the ancestry of people and to take pride in their ancestry. Distinguishing narrators from each other and recording them by their nisba, which they are famous by them, has become the main aim of the science of nasab.
