Bu araştırmanın amacı okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin fen öğretimine yönelik tutumları ile fen ve doğa etkinliklerine yönelik görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Elazığ ili merkezinde görev yapan nicel boyutta 203, nitel boyutta ise 63 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutu, betimsel tarama modeli, nitel boyutta ise durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular değerlendirildiğinde okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin fen öğretimine yönelik tutumlarının orta düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırma bulgularına göre okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin fen öğretimine yönelik tutumunun öğretmenin görev yaptığı okul, öğretmenin çalıştığı yaş grubu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı görülmüştür. Araştırmanın nitel boyutunda ise okul öncesi öğretmenleri fen ve doğa etkinliklerinin fen ve doğa etkinliklerinin hazırlık sürecinde öncelikli olarak materyalleri araştırıp-temin etmeye yönelik çalıştıklarını ifade etmişlerdir. Ayrıca fen ve doğa etkinliklerini yaparken çoğunlukla bitkileri kullandıklarını ve materyalleri kullanırken özellikle güvenliğe önem verdiklerini, fen ve doğa etkinliklerinde sıklıkla deney yöntemini kullandığını ve materyal eksikliği problemi yaşadıklarını belirtmişlerdir.
The purpose of this research is to study the attitudes of pre-school teachers towards the teaching of science and their views towards the activities of science and nature. The sample of the study consists of 203 quantitative dimensions and 63 pre-school teachers in the educational year 2018-2019. In the study, the karma method was used. The quantum size of the study, the visual scan model, and the quality size of the situation work model were used. When the findings from the research were evaluated, it was found that the attitudes of pre-school teachers towards the teaching of science were at the middle level. According to research findings, the attitude of pre-school teachers towards the teaching of science in the school in which the teacher is responsible has not shown a significant difference according to the age group variables in which the teacher works. In the quality of the research, pre-school teachers have stated that the scientific and natural activities in the preparation process of the scientific and natural activities are primarily aimed at researching and ensuring materials. They also pointed out that when doing science and nature activities, they often use plants and especially pay attention to safety when using materials, they often use the experimental method in science and nature activities, and they have problems with material deficiency.
