Sosyal politika uygulamalarının en önemlilerinden birisi sosyal güvenlik ise ikincisi asgari ücret uygulamasıdır denilebilir. Bu çalışmada modern dünyada kadın yoksulluğunu da ortadan kaldırmak gibi hedefleri olan sosyal politika araçlarından olan asgari ücret, sosyal sigorta ve yasal çalışma süresinin Cizre’deki hizmet sektöründe çalışmakta olan kadın işçilere yönelik uygulanma düzeylerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda Cizre’de hizmet sektörünün çeşitli dallarında çalışmış ya da çalışmakta olan kadın işçilerle derinlemesine mülakatlar yapılmış, sosyal politika uygulamalarının uygulama düzeylerinin ortaya konulması hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma sürecinde elde edilen verilerden Cizre’de hizmet sektörünün çeşitli dallarında önceden çalışmış ya da hala çalışmakta olan kadın işçilerin asgari ücret altında, sosyal güvenlikten yoksun ve yasal sınırın üstünde uzun saatler çalıştırıldıkları tespit edilmiştir.
If one of the most important social policies is social security, it can be said that the second is the application of the minimum wage. This study investigates the extent to which the minimum wage, social security, and legal working hours, which are social policy instruments to eliminate women's poverty in the modern world, are implemented among female workers in the service sector in Cizre. In this context, in-depth interviews were conducted with women workers who were or are working in different branches of the service sector in Cizre to determine the level of application of social policy practices. From the data obtained during the labor process, it is evident that female workers who have worked or are still working in different branches of the service sector in Cizre have long working hours below the minimum wage, without social protection, and above the legal limit.
