Abstract:

Entrepreneurship is a very important source of development and power today’s global economies. Every day, more and more people worldwide realize their dream of owning their own business and managing their own business. In our country, the Directorate of Development and Support of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (KOSGEB) which aims to develop, support and spread entrepreneurship, which is the most important factor in the solution of economic development and employment problems, ensures the support and training of new entrepreneurs. This study will explore the importance of the new entrepreneurial support offered in the framework of KOSGEB entrepreneurial supports in the framework of the "entrepreneurial support program" and in the "entrepreneurial development support program" that entered into force in 2019 in terms of the country's economy and employment policy.  The aim of this study is to investigate the success rate of the entrepreneurship support program in the TR-33 region (Afyonkarahisar, Kütahya, Uşak, Manisa) and to identify the importance of practical entrepreneurship training within the same support framework. In this study, a quality research method will be applied on the views of Kosgeb experts in the TR-33 area and the data in the Kosgeb database between 2010-2018 years. Applied Entrepreneurship training provided by KOSGEB in Turkey, the amounts and numbers of new entrepreneurial support are interpreted as statistical data. In this study, the number of practical entrepreneurship training provided by KOSGEB within the TR33 region will also be the subject of the investigation of the shares that the financial support provided for reimbursement and/or non-reimbursement is received above the total value in Turkey.
