Abstract:

The purpose of this research is, according to the teachers’ opinions, to identify the fundamental problems faced in pre-school education and to develop solutions to these problems. The research work group consists of 24 pre-school teachers in the schools with official independent primary schools and native schools connected to the Central District of Edirne in the 2018-2019 educational and educational year. The research is designed in the research model. The data is evaluated by content analysis. According to participants, the failure to pay regular student contributions and the budget shortage of schools are seen as economic problems. The vast majority of participants point out that problems in the education process occur because the families do not show sufficient support and interest in pre-school education. According to teachers, deficiencies in the guidance and supervision system, the lack of teachers' breathing times, the application of dual education, the lack of staff and the lack of legislation are among the main problems in pre-school education. In order to resolve the problems faced in pre-school education, teachers have made recommendations that the expenses of pre-school education should be paid by the state, the awareness of families and the pre-school education should be included in the compulsory education scope.
