Abstract:

The National Struggle Period includes an important period in which all the material and spiritual possibilities are transferred to preserve the existence and independence of the Turkish nation. During this period, as in many places of Anadolu, the resistance against occupation under the leadership of Muftu Ahmet Hulusi Efendi began in Denizli. Due to the extraordinary conditions of the period; vital factors such as dual, logistics and health services have significantly affected the result of the National Struggle. In this study, the Health Services in Denizli during the National Struggle Period, the establishment and work of the Denizli Country Hospital and the activities of the Hilal-i Ahmer Society in the Denizli and art area are aimed at thematic examination. In this scope, Istiklal Harbi Health Reports, Red Archive Documents, Hilal-i Ahmer Society Activity Reports and printed works have been studied. As a result of the research, in the process of the failure of the occupational movement of the aforementioned institutions and organizations in Denizli and its surroundings, they will try to reveal the services they do in the field of health in both the front and the Denizli centers and in their accidents.
