God created man and subjected to him the vast universe at his disposal in order to wander in it the way he wills and fulfil his needs. Moreover, God provided man with all means and gave him a superior rank over all creation. Thus, it became clear that man is the purpose of creation and that he is the ultimate result and precious fruit. Hence, man has gained the honour to be the vicegerent on earth. The wisdom behind the creation of man is to worship Almighty God. Therefore, man has to recognize the features which God has honoured him with. Then, he has to truly know his Creator, because it is the most important issue in his life. However, many people have forgetfully denied this issue. They spread mischief on earth through their arrogance. That is why Nursi, dedicated himself and his entire life to enlighten those who are lost and guide them to the truth. Nursi devoted himself to guide their steps and ease the way for them. For that reason, Nursi established proofs and evidence from the Holy book of Qur'an and from the book of creation so that they are confirmed and accepted in hearts and minds beyond any doubt for anyone who has a heart or gives ear while he is heedful. Keywords: Risale-i Nur, Purpose of Life, Viceregency, Proofs of the Quran, Book of Creation  – ملخص البحث – أ.د. فاروق حمادة خلق اللّٰه الإنسان وجعل له الكون بفساحته تحت تصرفه، يسرح فيه كيف يشاء حسب حاجاته الفطرية، ومدّه بشتى الوسائل وجعله ثمرة خلقه، فأصبحت له أهمية عظمى وقيمة عالية مقارنة بسائر المخلوقات، فظهر بذلك أنه هو المقصود من حكمة خلق الكائنات، وأنه هو النتيجة العظمى، وثمرتها النفيسة، فنال شرف خليفة اللّٰه في أرضه. إن حكمة اللّٰه من خلق هذا الإنسان هي عبادة اللّٰه عز وجل، فعليه بعد معرفة هذه الميزات التي شرفه بها أن يعرف خالقه حق المعرفة، لأنها أهم قضية في حياته. غير أن كثيرا من الخلق ترك هذه القضية وتناساها وطغى في الأرض وتكبر، لذلك نذر الأستاذ النورسي رحمه اللّٰه نفسه وكرس حياته كلها لتبصير هؤلاء الضالين بهذه الحقيقة العالية، وتنوير طريقهم وسلك السبل أمام فهمهم لإيضاحها، فأقام لذلك الحجج والبراهين والبينات من القرآنين المنظور والمسطور لبيان قطعيتها وترسيخها في العقول والقلوب بما لا يدع مجالا للشك عند من كان له قلب أو ألقى السمع وهو شهيد. 
