Abstract:

The objective of this study in the 2018-2019 educational year is to determine the student’s course success, critical thinking skills, the impact on learning on durability and identify the students’ opinions towards the 7E Supported Social Information Course. The research work group has formed two classes in the fifth class level studying in the Gazi High School in Diyarbakır's Yenişehir District in the first period of the 2018-2019 educational year. This research has been applied as an internal karma pattern model that is included in the karma research approach. The quantum size of the study is in the test model and in this section the first and last test control group has been used by the semi-experimental pattern. The quality size of the study is in the phenomenology (event science) model and in this section a semi-configured interview with 10 students in the experiment group was conducted. For this study to be implemented, the necessary permissions were first obtained from the University of Fırat Non-Entrepreneurial Research Ethics Board and then from the Provincial Education Directorate of Diyarbakır Governorate. In addition, the research will be applied to the high school’s 5th grade students all the tutors will be informed and volunteer forms. SPSS 22 is used in the analysis of qualitative data, while the analysis of qualitative data is used in the analysis of visual analysis technique. According to the results of the study, the 7E-supported SDO found that the students of the fifth class significantly increased their social information course success and significantly improved their critical thinking skills but not significantly increased the durability of learning.
