Abstract:

Producing high-quality products has become one of the most important elements for seeking to survive today, where competition is intense. The quality management philosophy, which is based on producing the truth for the first time and customer satisfaction, will succeed as long as it follows and controls the quality costs. The purpose of the study is to theoretically describe the quality costs and then interpret the quality cost data of a manufacturing enterprise by classifying and contributing to literature. For the purpose of the work, a manufacturing enterprise that operates in the furniture industry in the province of Sivas was selected. The data included in the analysis is the six-month data of the company for 2021. The study found that the majority of the errors occurring in the quality cost categories of the company were made up of staff-based errors and proposed solutions.
