Molibden savunma, uzay ve havacılık sanayi başta olmak üzere sağlık, elektronik ve nükleer gibi sektörlerde kullanılan önemli bir malzemedir. Bu çalışmada savunma sanayi ve havacılık sanayinde önemli bir yer tutan molibdenin ıslanma karakteristiği incelenmiştir. Numune olarak ticari saflıkta molibden kullanılmıştır. Molibden numunelerinin hidrofobisite ve hidrofilisiteleri hakkında yorum yapabilmek için numuneler üzerine saf su damlatılmıştır. Dijital mikroskop yardımıyla numunelerden anlık görüntü alınmıştır ve daha sonra temas açıları (contact angle) ölçülmüştür. Temas açısı ölçümleri, MATLAB platformunda hazırlanan görüntü işleme temelli bir yazılım aracılığıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Temas açısı (birörnek numuneler, çok yakın yüzey pürüzlülüğü değerleri ve aynı ölçüm ortam değerleri için) θ=61°±6 ölçülmüştür.
Molibden is an important material used in the health, electronics and nuclear sectors, including the defense, space and aviation industry. This study has studied the moisturizing characteristics of molybdenum, which holds an important place in the defense industry and aviation industry. As a sample, molibden is used in commercial purity. Clean water is dropped on the samples to comment on the hydrophobicity and hydrophilities of molibden samples. With the help of a digital microscope, instant images were taken from the samples and then contact angles (contact angles) were measured. Communication angle measurements are carried out through an image processing-based software prepared on the MATLAB platform. The contact angle (for samples, very close surface smoothness values and the same measurement medium values) is measured θ=61°±6.
Molybdenum is an important material used mainly in the defense and aerospace industries, as well as in industries such as healthcare, electronics and nuclear. In this study, wetting behavior of molybdenum which has an important place in defense industry and aerospace industry has been investigated. Commercial purity molybdenum was used as the sample. In order to interpret on the hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity of molybdenum samples, pure water was dropped on the samples. Snapshots were taken from the samples with the help of digital microscope and then contact angles were measured. Contact angle measurements were performed using an image processing-based software prepared on the MATLAB platform. The contact angle (for uniform samples, very close surface roughness values and the same measurement medium values) was measured as θ = 61 ° ± 6.
