Abstract:

The aim of this study will be to evaluate the organization philosophy, organizational structure and scientific activities of the "International French-speaking Sociologists Association" in the light of the sociological developments in the world and France during the time of the association was established and to reveal the relationship of the formation with the sociological thoughts and organizations in Turkey. The International Association of French-speaking sociologists (AISLF-Association Internationale des Sociologues de Langue Française) today has an important sociological platform with numerous members in many countries of the world, which opens to the discussion of issues such as the path of sociological thinking, methodological developments, cultural multiplication, new societies, local and global social issues on a regular basis. One of the countries in which AISLF held its meetings in the last period is Turkey. From this point of view, our work has a framework that reveals the structure and work areas of AISLF and the association’s relationship with sociological thinking in Turkey.
